July 4th Camping in American Fork Canyon
John had a great idea that we would start camping this summer. It has been a while since I had camped. Since we got the houseboat when I was 8, I'm not sure that I have 'roughed it' since then. I had forgotten how dirty one can get. I also had not camped as a parent or as the 'cook' before. Thank goodness our good friends Dianna and Gabriel (also Kristen and Katie) were their to help-well actually do everything! We only had to rush down to the ER once for Adam. He was chopping wood(that's his story and he's sticking to it) and the head of the ax fell off and hit his leg. 3 stiches later (a trip to the ER bathroom) we were back up the mountain! We got home just in time to light fireworks!
Santa Maria Chuck E. Cheeses
I can't even begin to explain Logan's obsession with Chuck. He likes the live Chuck but will still lay at the plasic Chuck E's feet for hours. Even when the robot hits him in the head he promptly tells him (chuck) that he is ok(as if chuck cared!).
