Adam was told the day before this happened by his friend at work to not handle knives with wet hands not to mention his mom and dad have mentioned 'don't play with knives' 800 times. He had some time to kill at work while waiting for a tournament to finish(he works at alpine country club) so he and his co-workers wanted to pop a basket ball with a steak knife. Adam had wet hands and his right hand slipped and guess what? He cut his pinky pretty bad. We took him to urgent care where we were told he needed to go to the ER. The ER stiched him up and 4 days later he had surgery to repair his severed tendon. He now has a funny little contraption and a splint. It will take 12 weeks to heal. Nice Adam. Way to go.
